A audit<\/strong> is a systematic, independent, and documented investigation to determine whether specified requirements are met. A distinction is made between different types. First-party audits<\/strong> (internal audits), Second-party audits<\/strong> (e.g. supplier audits) and Third-party audits<\/strong> (Certification audits by independent bodies, for example according to IFS Food<\/a> or FSSC 22000<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Internal audits<\/strong> Check whether your own management system is being implemented effectively.
