You have now learned that serious accidents can happen at work. I'll show you what you can do to keep this from happening to you. The first step there: you have to learn to recognize dangers.
If you notice something that seems unsafe to you, report it to your manager. Also let him know about dangerous things that happened to you or that you saw.
Also remember: Occupational health and safety applies to everyone who is in the company. So also, for example, for assistants, visitors, cleaning companies, executives.
