This is my friend Deniz. Deniz is a chef. One of the best! His company makes food for kindergartens and schools. When Deniz cooks for his grandchildren, they both rejoice. Once, he was ill. He had a stomachache and diarrhea. Deniz felt sick, but he went to work anyway and cooked: The children need good food! he thought. Shortly afterward, many children became ill. Little Elisa had to be hospitalized because she was so ill. The diagnosis: rotavirus. Besides Elisa, 34 children became ill. The children had become infected through the food Deniz had cooked. Deniz blames himself terribly. The result: Elisa and the other children fortunately recovered. Deniz's company is losing many customers. The health department is investigating: VIOLATION OF THE INFECTION PROTECTION ACT (IfSG).
I'll explain to you right away what you can do to make something like this not happened!

Deniz could have prevented the incident if he had adhered to the requirements of the Infection Protection Act. If the guidelines are not followed, something like this can happen! 
That's why I take the law very seriously.

Objectives of the Infection Protection Act

The aim of the law is this Protection of the population from dangerous diseases. 
So it protects:

  • your family,
  • your friends,
  • your customers
  • and you 

from contracting serious diseases.

Sections 42 and 43 regulate the handling of food.
The aim is not to transmit diseases through food.
