background

Why is food defense training important?

A person wearing blue gloves operates a measuring device for quality control on packaged cartons.

Food defense deals with protecting food, processes, and locations from intentional tampering, sabotage, or unauthorized access. Unlike HACCP, food defense does not consider unintentional hazards, but rather targeted actions with potential impacts on product safety, businesses, and consumers.

Standards such as IFS, FSSC 22000 and BRCGS Therefore, companies are expected to assess food defense risks, define appropriate protective measures, clarify responsibilities, and regularly review the effectiveness of their system. This training will help you to understand food defense requirements, identify typical weaknesses, and derive practical measures for your company.
